Congratulations to Jen Harwood’s U12 Outlaws girls for a thrilling International Tie-Breaker win against Sorrento in the U12C Silver Tier Regional Championship tournament held in Kelowna June 24-25, 2017! A back and forth game saw Sorrento explode for 8 runs in the top of their open inning to take a three run lead. The Outlaws responded with 3 of their own in the bottom half to make the game even after four complete innings with time expired, sending it to the decisive tie-breaker format. A shutdown, scoreless inning in the defensive half of the extra inning led to an electrifying run scoring double in the bottom half , sending the players, coaches and fans into a cheering frenzy. Way to go girls! A fantastic finish to a great year of ball.
